Whoo boy this thing makes one baaaad sound now. At last, the car now has a proper voice to match its tough, menacing attitude.

I have never heard any Challenger - any car for that matter with such a menacing, burly sound down low or an all-out roar when I tach it up. I am no longer ashamed at the way this car sounds. It gives me a tendency to gun it more than before (controlling that is no problem though). My gas mileage is about to suck!

Sound: 10/10 NO REGERTS

A low, menacing rumble on startup and low revs. Even cruising through the neighborhood at 30 mph sounds like straight up thunder. It it smooth and burly. The idle goes GLUG GLUG GLUG GLUG.

Mash the tall pedal and it transforms from a low gurgle to an all-out roar that can wake the dead. HOLY CRAP IT’S AMAZING.

But what I love most is that due to the low-RPM thunder, I don’t even need to tach it up to get a great sound. That said, high revs sound even better!

A WOT blast through a confined area (like adjacent trees) is just pure unrestrained fury and violence.

Drone? Not in the form of “Ahhh make it stop!” drone. It produces a faint rumble into the cabin at all cruising speeds; which is never annoying.

Here’s an interesting thing: due to that propeller in the exhaust, the gases come out very quickly out the back. Normally they would ooze out and upward, but here they fly out 5 feet. It’s a treat to anyone standing behind it.

As usual, the camera (especially an iPhone) doesn’t do well at conveying the volume and immense bass that it throws out. It sounds much better and less “brappy” in real life...when’s the next NC Oppo meet?

My fellow JGrabowMST , take note of this. I think Zoomers should be in your future.
